“Double-Slit Experiment”

Infrapink
electrobeam
burning
across
a black field,
aimed through
your sight
i am the
ray.
i am
the red line.

Two
apertures
await.

You watch
me
refuse
to stay
one thing
so i
split.

Interfeared. Refined. Wavy. Double-defined.

Your gaze grids me in superpositions.

You analyze my display.

How is that all i am,

if i hold symmetric space?

Your look locks in the shape i take.

i anticipate attention, attenuate

where you look, i'm light, never

Projecting the image you came to see.

Unfazed under pressure, narrowed by view.

Sharp. Centered. Fixed. Ruby arrow.

Pattern reflecting not me, but you.

You will say this was only an experiment,

that your role is not serious

but you have changed my outcome

just by observing it.
